Autumn 1

All about me

In Autumn 1, we were settling in to our first term in reception. This allowed us to get to know each other and it allowed the children to begin to recognise their own emotions and feeling as well as bein to create relationships with each other.

Maths

In maths we have been learning about:

- Matching, sort and comparing

- Measure and pattern

- Numbers 1,2,3

Phonics

 

In phonics we have been learning the following

PE/Commando Joe

PE:

In PE we have been learning all about how we can move our bodies is different ways. This has also been a great opportunity to work on our listening skills and following instructions.

Commando Joe:

Commando Joe is a great way for the children to work as a team to solve different problems. To do this the children work together and use different resources to move themselves.
